1-9 Sounds a Hell of a lot Better Than 0-10
Well, Stanford football finally got into the win column this season by beating Washington, who they hadn't beat since 1975 at Washington. It was especially pleasing to me that their first victory came against former Stanford coach (from the 1999 glory days) Tyrone Willingham. All I can say is watch out Cal, because Stanford is on a roll!

We flew to Seattle tonight for a Thanksgiving visit and ran into a Frosh at Santa Clara who has two friends from Washington at St. Andrews. If you know Aili Chiong or Alex McKee, tell them Nance says hello. She says one of the girls is badly homesick and wants to come home. If you know either, see what you can do to cheer them up! BTW Happy Thanksgiving from the Gidre Family.
